It's delighted to share our newly shipped PCB with you. This high performance PCB whihch is based on TLX-9 substrates. TLX-9 is a cutting-edge PTFE/woven glass laminate PCB designed to offer exceptional electrical and mechanical properties. This composite material provides precise control over its characteristics, with the dielectric constant (Dk) customizable within a specified range and a tolerance of ±0.04. When measured at 10 GHz, TLX-9 exhibits a dissipation factor of approximately 0.0019.
TLX-9 boasts an impressive set of material properties. Its dielectric constant at 10 GHz is 2.5, ensuring low signal loss and maintaining signal integrity in high-frequency applications. With a moisture absorption rate of less than 0.02%, TLX-9 offers enhanced reliability even under humid conditions. It showcases a high dielectric breakdown of over 60 kV, ensuring safe operation in demanding electrical environments. TLX-9 also features excellent volume and surface resistivity, along with a remarkable arc resistance of more than 180 seconds.
The mechanical properties of TLX-9 are equally impressive. It has a flexural strength of over 23,000 lbs./in. lengthwise and over 19,000 lbs./in. crosswise, providing exceptional mechanical reinforcement. The peel strength with 1oz copper is 12 lbs./linear in., ensuring secure adhesion of components. TLX-9 also exhibits controlled coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) values, with a range of 9-12 ppm/°C in the x-y direction and 130-145 ppm/°C in the z direction, enhancing reliability in varying temperature conditions. Additionally, TLX-9 has a thermal conductivity of 0.19 W/m/K, facilitating efficient heat dissipation.

This newly shipped PCB is a 2-layer rigid board with a copper weight of 35 μm on each outer layer. The board dimensions are 41.5mm x 32.72 mm, with a finished thickness of 0.6mm. It supports a minimum trace/space of 7/8 mils and a minimum hole size of 0.4mm. Each PCB undergoes a thorough 100% electrical test prior to shipment, ensuring its quality and reliability.
