Introducing our newly shipped PCB built on the cutting-edge Rogers DiClad 880 woven fiberglass reinforced, PTFE-based composites. This advanced substrate offers exceptional electrical properties, dimensional stability, and chemical resistance, making it the perfect choice for a wide range of high-performance systems.
This PCB substrate features a DK of 2.2 +/- 0.04 at 10 GHz/23°C and 1 MHz, along with a dissipation factor of 0.0009 at 10 GHz/23°C and 0.0008 at 1 MHz. It exhibits a TCDK of -160 ppm/°C ranging from -10°C to 140°C, ensuring stable performance across temperature variations. Moreover, with a moisture absorption rate of only 0.02%, it outperforms other PTFE-based composites in humid environments.
The PCB substrate boasts several key features. It offers an extremely low loss tangent, minimizing signal degradation and ensuring superior signal integrity. The excellent dimensional stability of the DiClad 880 substrate guarantees consistent performance even in challenging environments. This PCB demonstrates consistent mechanical performance, delivering exceptional durability and reliability for critical electronic systems. It also exhibits excellent chemical resistance, protecting against damage from various chemicals. The lowest moisture absorption among PTFE-based composites further enhances the reliability of the PCB.
With a stable dielectric constant (Dk) over a wide frequency range, this PCB enables precise signal control and transmission. Additionally, the low Dk characteristic supports wider line widths, resulting in lower insertion loss and improved overall signal integrity.
This 2-layer rigid PCB stackup consists of copper Layer 1 with a thickness of 35 μm, a DiClad 880 substrate with a thickness of 0.508 mm (20 mil), and copper Layer 2 with a thickness of 35 μm. The finished board has a thickness of 0.6mm and a Cu weight of 1oz (1.4 mils) on the outer layers. It features a surface finish of immersion silver, top silkscreen in white, and top solder mask in blue.
