Kingboard Chemical Group Invests $120 Million to Build New PCB Factory in Vietnam

On June 4, the People's Committee of Bac Ninh Province, Vietnam, approved and issued an investment registration certificate for Kingboard Chemical Group's Bac Ninh project. The project is located in the Gia Binh II Industrial Park in Gia Binh District, Bac Ninh Province. On June 20, LEGEND BRIGHT ENTERPRISE (HONG KONG) LIMITED, a subsidiary of Kingboard Chemical Group headquartered in Hong Kong, established Yangxuan Electronics (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. to complete its layout of PCB through-hole and HDI product manufacturing in Vietnam.

According to the information, Yangxuan Electronics (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. mainly produces printed circuit boards. The first phase of production is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2025, with a capacity of 600,000 square feet per month. The second phase is expected to reach a capacity of 1 million square feet per month. The total land area of the project is 44,468 square meters, and the factory building area is 85,182 square meters, with a total investment of $120 million.

The information shows that Kingboard Chemical Group Limited is the world's largest copper-clad laminate producer and China's largest printed circuit board manufacturer. It is also one of the major suppliers of chemical products in China. The company currently has around 50,000 employees and an annual turnover of over HK$30 billion. It has been ranked among the Forbes Global 2000 companies for two consecutive years and was named one of the top 100 technology companies by Bloomberg Businessweek in 2010.
