Latest company news about Foxconn Q4 Revenue Reaches 2.13 Trillion New Taiwan Dollars, Setting a Historic High

Foxconn, as the world's largest contract electronics manufacturer, achieved a record high revenue in the fourth quarter, driven by robust demand for artificial intelligence (AI) servers, surpassing expectations.

In a statement on Sunday, Foxconn announced that as Apple's largest iPhone assembler, its Q4 revenue surged by 15.2% to reach 2.13 trillion New Taiwan Dollars (approximately $64.72 billion), a 15% year-on-year growth, exceeding analysts' expectations of 13%. The revenue also surpassed the forecast of 2.1 trillion New Taiwan Dollars given by LSEG SmartEstimate.

In 2024, Foxconn's revenue reached a staggering 6.86 trillion New Taiwan Dollars, marking a historic high and outperforming both company and market expectations.

Foxconn stated that strong demand for AI servers drove robust revenue growth in its cloud and networking products division, with clients including AI chip company NVIDIA.

Regarding smart consumer electronics products, including the iPhone, Foxconn mentioned that the year-on-year growth was "roughly flat."

The total revenue for December alone reached 654.8 billion New Taiwan Dollars, a 42.3% year-on-year increase, making it the second-highest month in history.

"As we enter the traditional off-season in the first quarter of 2025, overall operations have gradually normalized," Foxconn stated in its outlook for the current quarter.

Further elaborating, Foxconn stated, "Although Q4 of 2024 saw historic high revenue, the quarter-over-quarter performance in Q1 will be roughly similar to the average level of the past five years; compared to the same period last year, there will be a significant increase."

Regarding this year's operational outlook, Foxconn Chairman Young Liu recently revealed that the revenue scale is expected to exceed 7 trillion New Taiwan Dollars. Additionally, expanding the smart city layout is a key strategy for Foxconn in the new year. For humanoid robots, Foxconn is also collaborating with NVIDIA to develop service-oriented humanoid robots using the latest software technology and hardware platforms in Kaohsiung.

Last year, Foxconn's stock price skyrocketed by 76%, far exceeding the overall 28.5% increase in the Chinese Taiwan market.

The company is set to release its complete Q4 financial report on March 14.
