Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), also referred to as "plastic king," is a polymer compound created by polymerizing tetrafluoroethylene. Excellent chemical stability, corrosion resistance, sealing, high lubrication, low viscosity, electrical insulation, and strong aging resistance are only a few of its many strengths. It can be produced into PTFE tube, rod, belt, plate, film, and other engineering plastic products. It is typically utilized in high performance requirements for corrosion-resistant pipelines, containers, pumps, valves, radar, high-frequency communication equipment, and radio equipment.

 

By laminating varnished glass cloth with Teflon resin, F4BM-1/2 is laminated in accordance with a precise technological procedure and scientific formulation. Compared to the F4B series, this product has some advantages in terms of electrical performance (wider range of dielectric constant,lower dielectric loss angle tangent,increased resistance,and more stability of performance).

 

The dielectric constant of PTFE materials is as low as 3.5 or lower at RF and microwave frequencies, which maintains a strong signal while transmission across PCB and makes them the perfect solution for getting around FR-4's high speed restriction.
